Vacation mode is great. We drop the temperature while we're away and schedule it to heat back up the day we return. Only wish I had done it sooner.

Plan your condensate drain before you start. Once that was sorted the rest of the installation was straightforward and it has been flawless. The savings alone justify the upgrade.

It is heavy, so get a second person and a dolly. After it was in place everything else took about two hours. A. O. Smith did this one right.

Temperature stays rock steady through long showers. My old heater used to fade halfway through and this one simply doesn't. My plumber was impressed with the layout too.
